OrthAlign, Inc., a Smart Technologies, growing medical device company, has an immediate opening for a Inventory Analyst / Consignment responsible for consigned inventory maintenance and distributor and hospital contracts management. This role is also responsible for monthly reports and key metrics dashboards.

You will:

  • Be responsible for management of consigned inventory (instrument sets and units)
    • Develop and communicate processes and procedures to control and ensure efficient utilization of consigned inventory
    • Perform regular audits and reconciliation of inventory held at customers and distributors
    • Develop and provide regular reporting and metrics of consigned inventory utilization
    • Evaluate consigned inventory levels and utilization; provide recommendations on optimal inventory levels
    • Partner with sales management and distributors to analyze and redeploy assets
  • Review, research, investigate and resolve consigned inventory discrepancies and disputes related to transferred, returned, lost or damaged inventory
  • Produce regular department reports for internal and external groups
  • Publish key metrics Dashboard for the department
  • Serve as backup for Customer Master Data maintenance
  • Process new Distributor Contracts, follow-up on missing information, and update the Distributor Pipeline
    • Process new Hospital Contracts, follow-up on missing information, and update Customer Contracts Master

    You need:

    • BA/BS degree (preferred)
    • 1-2 years of experience in consignment business model and ERP systems (required)
    • 3+ years of experience overall
    • Strong proficiency using MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Results-oriented, positive “can-do” attitude with appropriate urgency and tenacious follow-up
    • Ability to work as a collaborative team member as well as independently
    • Excellent attention to detail, producing high quality output
    • Flexibility and strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
    • Sound judgment when making decisions and communicating with peers and management
    • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
    • Experience involving customer contact and resolution of customer difficulties is essential
    • ERP experience, preferably in Expandable
    • Experience developing and transforming processes and procedures to drive efficiencies and improvement
